IRCd-Damon has a few projects to complete as well as IRCd-Damon to complete. These include Services compatibility and modules to work on.
IRCd-Damon is going to be one of the newest IRC Deamons out there. It is using one of the best basis every, Charybdis! Charybdis is an IRCd from a line of great IRCd development. Using Charybdis we are able to have Atheme compatibility and possibly Anope Compatibility.
IRCd-Damon will also have many other modes. Some of the modes include modes from Charybdis. We are also looking for your help to give us some ideas. We need mode ideas. You can give them to us using the blog.
We are looking into making IRCd-Damon more useful by making modules. Many modules are going to be made. Some from the dev team and some from developers that want to make their IRC NetWork better. We would like for those IRC Admins to help us out and make modules for us when our IRCd comes out.
IRCd-Damon will be very stable. Oufcourse! I mean there is no way for it not to be. It comes from a line of stable IRCd's.
Iqbal is trying to find out if Anope will support IRCd-Damon because Anope doesn't support the version of Charybdis we are using.
Julien is working on user mode +h for IRCd-Damon. We will then start working on the other usermodes.
Iqbal is working on the Atheme Services compatibility by making a protocol for IRCd-Damon.
We have decided what IRCd-Damon is going to based off of. Charybdis one of our top choices was chosen.
